Local Government NSW, the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage (OEH), and Parkes Shire Council are hosting a free workshop to showcase Building Resilience to Climate Change projects.
Councils are invited to attend along with representatives from OEH and other NSW agencies to discuss the following topic areas:
Increased urban heat
Climate resilience in water infrastructure
Climate ready rehabilitation
The workshop will provide the opportunity to hear form other councils that are implementing adaptation projects to find out about tools and resources to build resilience, and expand the network of local government practitioners addressing climate change.
