Come for a walk around Boundary Road Reserve and the Blayney Road Common with guides from Boundary Road Landcare, Bathurst Regional Council and Central Tablelands Landcare. Both sites are grassy box gum woodlands and both Landcare and council have been working to protect and enhance local plants and animals in the reserves. We will be looking at nestboxes installed on-site, looking at various ways you can tell what animals are using the nestboxes as well as identifying plants and birds at the sites. Bring binoculars if you have them. Dress for the weather - it can be cold in Bathurst at this time of year. Make sure you wear sturdy shoes as this workshop will involve some walking.
- Cost $10, includes lunch, afternoon tea and a guided walk.
- Limited to 30 participants.
- Location: Meet at the carpark at Bathurst and District Vietnam Vets Memorial Park, corner of Blayney Road and Mid Western Highway (Blayney Road), Bathurst.
- Time: 12pm - 4pm
