Conservation in Action: research to reality is a conference that will bring together industry leaders in the conservation field. From scientists to policy makers, program managers through to specialists in implementing works in the field, this event will pull together all disciplines of natural resource management to demonstrate how we're turning Research into Reality.

The conference will be hosted in the vibrant regional city of Bathurst in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales. Our conference venue is the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC), a nationally recognised performing arts centre with outstanding facilities for an event of this type. BMEC is located within the CBD of Bathurst providing ease of accessibility to a range of accommodation, dining and entertainment options.

The conference program boasts a full two days of presentations from leaders in their respective fields. Sessions will pull together research findings through to case studies and will demonstrate all of the policies, programs and plans in between that enable environmental practitioners to implement best management practice on the ground. Learn about the latest threatened species recovery work and research while networking with some of the leaders in managing our native flora and fauna.

This conference is being organised as a partnership between Central Tablelands Local Land Services, Central Tablelands Landcare and Central West Councils Environment & Waterways Alliance.
