Liz Davis, Central Tablelands Regional Landcare Facilitator, will run a hands on workshop on how and why to build Native Bee Motels. Every participant will build and take home a native bee motel and get some tips on how they can attract local native bees to their own backyard, whether it’s a farm, bushland, suburban block or a balcony. Native bee motels not only provide plenty of nooks and crannies for these beneficial insects to nest in but can be very decorative as well. These can be made in all shapes and sizes, the only limit is your creativity!
- Bookings are essential as places are limited, please register by Friday 11th May.
- Cost $20, includes lunch and afternoon tea as well as your own bee motel to take home.
- Limited to 20 participants.
- Location: Skillset Flannery Centre
- Time: 12pm - 4pm.
