Sustainable Cities is a free educational webinar series from the Department of Planning and Environment. It is designed for planning professionals and members of the public who are interested in how the planning system can support sustainable cities. The series will look at sustainable cities through the lens of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11, Sustainable Cities, from Agenda 2030.
In a changing climate, water will become even more precious. Join us in this second session where we will look in detail at the role of water in supporting a city becoming sustainable. We will explore challenges for cities, and look at some case studies where organisations have successfully managed to steer a path towards sustainability. Dr Magnus Moglia will discuss models to help identify effective water conservation policies.
