Sustainable Cities: Mitigation and adaptation to climate change - Webinar from Department of Planning and Environment

Sustainable Cities is a free educational webinar series from the Department of Planning and Environment. It is designed for planning professionals and members of the public who are interested in how the planning system can support sustainable cities. The series will look at sustainable cities through the lens of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11, Sustainable Cities, from Agenda 2030.

In this final session, we explore the challenges that cities will face as a consequence of climate change, and the importance of mitigating and adapting to these changes. Exciting research that can support planners and planning professionals in their task of making cities more resilient for people and infrastructure is presented.
